Composition – Lesson 3

Continue working on your writing skills. Get creative! The more you explore snare placements, the better you’ll become at creating the sounds you like.

Be sure to play each beat as you write it. This is a good assignment to do with a pencil (and an extra eraser or two) while sitting behind the kit to test them out.

Directions: Write snare strokes below using the additional snare & displacement techniques.
